With no technology to assist with chores, my father who was a dairy farmer, stayed lean and tough. After modernization arrived at our DeKap dairy farm, chores still were a big part of each day. However, the chores were different. With the purchase and addition of the Patz barn cleaner, my father laughingly said he had developed a "Patz Paunch."
